

At Pediatric Psychological & Consultation Services, LLC, we strive to improve access to the early identification and accurate diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and related neurodevelopmental differences in children and adolescents. Dr. Chenere Evans, Psy.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of clinical experience in the mental health profession. Dr. Evans specializes in working with children and adolescents and has worked in various collaborative settings to include inpatient and outpatient pediatric hospitals and medical centers, community mental health agencies, residential mental health programs, schools and group private practices. Dr. Evans has expertise in comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other psychological conditions requiring diagnostic clarification.
Dr. Evans received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master's in Counseling Psychology degrees from Bowie State University. Dr. Evans obtained her Master's and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University. Dr. Evans completed her two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine at Kennedy Krieger Institute in the Behavioral Psychology Department.
Dr. Evans is licensed to practice in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia and is credentialed as a National Register Health Service Psychologist. Dr. Evans is also a PSYPACT provider.
Dr. Evans is an active member of the American Psychological Association and the following APA Divisions: APA divison 33 (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities/Autism Spectrum Disorder), APA division 42 (Psychologists in Independent Practice), APA division 45 (Society for the Psychological Study of Culture, Ethnicity and Race), APA division 53 (Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology), APA divison 54 (Society of Pediatric Psychology) and APA division 55 (Society for Prescribing Psychology).
Dr. Evans was appointed by Maryland Governor Wes Moore in July 2025 to serve as a board member for the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.

Pediatric Psychological & Consultation Services, LLC is a psychological assessment specialty practice and offers in-person Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Evaluations for ages 5-17. The ASD and ADHD evaluations are fee-for-service and insurance is not accepted. We provide psychological testing services only and not psychotherapy services.
Flat Rate Testing Fee: $4,500
The comprehensive ASD and ADHD evaluations begin with an initial consultation and clinical interview/intake for information gathering of background history, developmental profile, medical and psychological history, overview of school and social/emotional/behavioral functioning and current therapies; and also includes records review of previous psychological, speech and/or occupational therapy and feeding evaluations.
Next in the ASD and ADHD diagnostic assessment process, an individualized and tailored testing battery is developed for accurate diagnosis and integrates information from direct testing, behavioral observations, and other collateral sources (parents/caregivers and school personnel such as teachers).
After 1-2 half days of testing, a feedback session is scheduled to review and discuss test results along with treatment recommendations and a detailed written evaluation report is provided.
